Fluffy homemade waffles drizzled with melted butter and syrup...is there anything better? National Waffle Day is Monday, August 24th but we're celebrating early with our Vanilla Collagen Waffles. These waffles may taste like a decadent dessert, but they make for a great low-carb solution to start your morning!
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 almond milk
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 scoops Vanilla Collagen Peptides
- 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- fresh fruit
- maple syrup
1. Combine in a medium bowl eggs, flour, butter, collagen, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and salt. Mix until there are little to no lumps.
2. Pour batter in the middle of your hot, greased waffle iron for about two minutes.
3. Carefully place your waffle on a plate and top with your favorite fresh fruit and maple syrup.
